A riverside family entertainment arena, from go-karts to bowling.
The project
SHOTT Surat is a large family entertainment centre wrapped in a checkerboard steel dome by the riverfront. Under the single vaulted roof, the plan threads together a full bowling alley, an arcade, a kids’ world, an 11D theatre and indoor cricket nets, while an outdoor go-karting circuit and lawn lounges spill onto the deck outside.
Exposed metal and timber keep the vast shell warm and industrial, while neon, pop-art zones and colour-blocked signage give each activity its own identity. Salvaged-drum seating, astro-turf and graphic graphics tie the arena together as one high-energy, all-ages playground.
