The people behind Tvastra
Founder & Principal Designer
Bhavin Swami leads Tvastra Design LLP as its Founder and principal designer. With over three decades of practice, he sets the studio's design direction across architecture, interiors and product, pairing a deep respect for tradition and craft with a modern, problem-solving mindset.
Hands-on from the first sketch to final execution, he is known for balancing proportion, light and material honesty, and for treating every project as someone's dream to be realised. His leadership shapes both the creative vision and the values that define the studio, people before projects.
Partner & Interior Designer
Alpa Swami is a partner and core team member at Tvastra Design, known for her refined eye for detail and warm design sensibility. As an interior designer, she contributes to shaping spaces with balance, comfort and character.
She also manages office operations and internal systems, ensuring the studio runs smoothly. Her thoughtful presence and organised approach make her an integral part of Tvastra's everyday functioning.
